Dolphins? defensive end standout, Kendall Langford will host a free football camp for high school student athletes on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The camp will take place at the Miami Dolphins? state of the art practice facility on the campus of Nova Southeastern University and registration is open to the first 200 campers in grades 9-12. The camp?s presenting sponsor, Doctors Hospital Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, an international leader in the treatment of sports injuries believes in Kendall?s mission to mentor students through football.
Kendall, along with several of his Dolphin teammates and other NFL colleagues will provide the campers with a solid foundation of the game. Professional trainers from Bommarito Performance Center will teach collegiate level fundamentals and give campers position specific instruction. This year?s camp features a new, streamlined online pre-registration process. Campers can register online at http://kendalllangfordcamp2012.eventbrite.com.
Langford is known for being actively involved in the Miami community since becoming a Dolphin in 2008. Kendall?s mission at this year?s camp is to reach out to high school student athletes to give them the information they need to be successful at the collegiate level. During the camp?s mentoring session, Kendall plans to emphasize to the attendees that their primary goal should be their education.
In addition to the specialized football camp instruction, campers will receive camp , lunch, drinks and awards. Parents or guardians must sign a release form for each camper upon arrival.
